The New York Film Chorale made their first test recording together on a hot night in June 2008, in a church on Lexington Avenue in New York City. Without editing and in a single pass, the recording session that night revealed the sheer beauty and artistry of this world-class chorus in spite of the open windows and a rush of New York City sounds.
In August of 2008 the ensemble recorded at Legacy Recording Studios’ scoring stage. This evening proved that the capability to provide the finest vocal sounds for film, television, and gaming scores was available right in the heart of New York, New York.
